A prospective member recently asked me, "What's the vibe like at Desk606?" It's one of the most important questions a coworking space can answer. People choose a space for the internet and the professional setting, but they stay because they feel comfortable. Here is how I describe it.
Is Desk606 a casual coworking space?
Yes. Desk606 is professional but relaxed. We staff the space lightly by design. We set you up, show you around, and then step aside so you can get to work. We don't require anyone to attend meetups, mixers, or community events, because that isn't our focus.
Is Desk606 good for productivity and focused work?
Yes. Our members are experienced professionals, such as freelancers, remote employees, and small business owners. They come to Desk606 to get things done. Everyone is friendly, but people stay focused on their own work.
Does Desk606 offer flexible coworking memberships?
Yes. We have some rules, but we adapt the space to each member's needs within reason. We offer custom pricing plans and expanded hour options, and we act on member feedback. If you need a custom arrangement, ask us.
Is Desk606 quiet?
Yes. The space is calm, and normal office-level conference calls and conversation are fine. Two skylights fill the room with natural light, and warm pendant lighting adds to a relaxed atmosphere.
